To prevent ejection, shoulder straps must be routed through the shoulder strap slots in both the upholstery and infant head support.
Some smaller infants may need the extra stability from the infant head support to keep their head and body in a comfortable position. Remove the infant head support from your car seat once your child’s head no longer fits comfortably in the padding.
Depending on when your Infant Car Seat was manufactured, it might have a head support that differs from the one shown below. If you have the rolled style head support, please refer to your owner’s manual.
