The Newborn Insert is an under-upholstery foam wedge insert especially designed for G5 Orbit Baby Infant Car Seat.
Use the insert for infants who weigh between 4-11 lbs.
After 11 lbs. please remove the insert and use the seat according to the car seat’s instructions.
As each child’s body is different, proper fit is critical to ensure the safety of your child. This kit is designed to help fit your lower birth weight child correctly in your G5 Infant Car Seat.
Instructions:
Remove the upholstery by disengaging the buckle, head support, and the crotch pad. (Please refer to Orbit Baby G5 Infant Car Seat instruction manual, Removing the Upholstery and Sunshade)
Once upholstery is removed, place the foam insert into the bottom of the car seat. Center the insert between the shoulder straps. The crotch belt should match the center opening of the insert.
Re-install the upholstery back to the original position with foam insert now placed between bottom of car seat and upholstery.
